Hi everyone, we've been hard at work quoting and negotiating with 7 manufacturers over a range of locations.
All of the quotes were submitted a few weeks ago. Since then, we've been working with manufacturers to establish the details of our surface finishing (like bead blast roughness, cosmetic surfaces, etc)—this is taking longer than expected due to some confusion on their end so we haven't received finalized quotes from a few of our manufacturers. Our finalized quotes should be ready in the next 1-2 weeks so we should have more info about order status in the next update!
In the meantime, the Winter Design team has been organizing our orders, arranging our inventory, and preparing to order off-the-shelf items like screws, switches, and soldering materials.
Also, we've noticed quite a few emails about changing customers' shipping addresses. We wanted to let you know that we have seen these emails and will update all of this information closer to shipping time.
